Accent Home Care is a division of Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged (TTHA) who have been supporting older people for over 50 years.
Accent Home Care has a range of services that extend to Home Care Packages (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and private services.
Accent Home Care is seeking an experienced Allied Health Team Leader to lead our community-based Support at Home services. This role is ideal for a senior Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist looking to combine leadership with meaningful clinical work supporting older people to live well at home.
About the role
You will provide clinical leadership and day-to-day supervision to a multidisciplinary allied health team while maintaining a proportional clinical caseload. Working closely with Care Advisors and nursing teams, you will support participants to achieve their goals through therapy, restorative care, and ongoing support.
This full-time role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and building a positive, high-performing team culture.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, lead, mentor, and supervise a multidisciplinary allied health team
- Deliver Support at Home services, including Restorative Care and End-of-Life pathways
- Provide clinical oversight and ensure evidence-based practice
- Contribute to assessment, care planning, goal setting, and outcomes monitoring
- Prescribe assistive technology and recommend home modifications
- Maintain service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Ensure services align with the Aged Care Act 2024 and relevant legislation
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, carers, and stakeholders
- Support non-clinical staff to understand participant clinical needs
- Increase the allied health workforce to respond to new opportunities
- Oversee service delivery for privately funded clients and increase overall customer base.
About you
- Qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy with current registration
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience, preferably in community or aged care
- Experience leading or supervising staff
- Strong understanding of person-centred, goal-focused care
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Support at Home and/or aged care programs (desirable)
- Experience working within budgets and meeting KPIs
